Dolphin can't play wii games - xsebetronx - 09-07-2018
every time i try to open a wii game i get 3 error messages, first one i get is "failed to write from BT.DINF to SYSCONF failed"
than i get "SetupWiiMem: can't make settings.txt" after that i get "Fifo shutting down while active"
gamecube games work just fine.
and also, Dolphin somehow doesnt save changed settings in configuration.
i googled these problems but none of them worked, i tried to run as admin, that failed, i tried to put dolphin on another drive, that failed to
i tried older version of Dolphin , wich also didnt help my problem,
i don't know what's wrong with dolphin or my pc.

What if you create a file named "portable.txt" in the same folder as dolphin?

well than, that somehow did the trick, i feel like a complete retard now but hey, thanks for helping man, i don't know why i didnt sumble on this method, i searched on a fix for days :/ thank you

It must be some sort of file permission problem I guess.
