Mario Galaxy sudden audio issues - madness1660 - 08-31-2018

Yesterday I was playing Mario Galaxy for about 5 hours with no audio or visual issues whilst running at 4k.  None what so ever.  And today, I felt like messing with the DPS Emulation Engine.  So I changed it from DSP HLE Emulation to DSP LLE Interpreter just to hear the results.  Well the result was crackling and missing audio.  So I changed it back.  Well, the crackling still happens, just not as frequently.  And a specific sound is missing,  The sound of when Mario spins in a large star to shoot off.  No sound from any of them.  What on earth did I do?  Is there a fix for this considering there wasn't even an issue until I tweaked the DSP Emulation Engine settings.  And I did troubleshoot with lower resolutions to no avail.

The sound you get when using a launch star is played using the Wii Remote speaker, so one of the Wii Remote-related settings (like Enable Speaker Data or the volume) might be affecting it. As for the crackling, is the game running at 100% speed or not?

No idea why this would happen by changing the DSP emulation backend setting, though...

Enable Speaker Data is disabled.  I don't know an option for setting the volume specific to the Wii Remote.  And the game is running at 100%.
Though I should mention that the sounds that crack, are very specific ones.  When first loading the game, Toad has mail for you.  The first time his little chime goes off it cracks, and so does the sound when receiving the 5 1-Ups.  Unless that's one the game's end with the sound stacking.  And the only scene transition crackle I get is when first loading the game, on top of Toad's chime.  I haven't played a lot of the levels since this issue, as I've been mostly troubleshooting the missing launch star audio and the crackle from Toad and the 5 1-Ups given.

UPDATE

So crackling is gone. I assume the 1-Ups I got at the start was just the sound stacking because I collected a few in various levels. The start-up crackling is gone. So the only issue I seem to have is the launch star audio. And I'm certain It's an isolated issue because if it were the Wii Remote's volume, it would affect star bits collected as well. Which sounds normal as before. So now I'm trying to figure out why that one audio piece is missing.
