WriteRest: op out of range - howtobait - 08-27-2018
Hey all,
I just installed the software and for some reason no game will play when I use the JIT Recompiler. I get the error WriteRest: op out of range (0x410f10f1 uses 0x55f733b480e8). It happens with any Gamecube game. The interpreter runs, however slowly.
Any ideas?

Hm, I'm not sure why you would be getting that on Windows... But if you're using Dolphin 5.0, try updating to the latest development version. It has some fixes related to that problem.

Faster Melee is out of date compared to the latest development versions, so please download the latest version from https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ and see if it affects the issue.

okay thanks it fixed but now I don't have all the characters the bottom row is question marks

There was likely a portable.txt in the build you were using before. Your dolphin saves and configuration are probably now in documents/dolphin emulator and not the user folder located beside the exe.

i really want to use Faster melee but i cant use the JIT recommended it gives the Executable memory over 2GB than the WriteRest: op out of range error
