[Newbie] Emulator Configuration - jimmys20 - 08-26-2018

Hello guys,

First post on this forum so sorry if it's in the wrong section and sorry for my noob questions.

So far I'm using the default settings on the emulator. The settings seem a bit overwhelming at first sight. So I would like to know which are some of the most important settings that I should change to get the best experience possible for my system.

I want to play Super Mario Galaxy at fullscreen on a 1080p monitor (1920x1080). The game is running great except during cutscenes the graphics get a bit distorted. This might get fixed after I configure a few settings.

Thanks in advance for your answers!!

If you want the game to look nicer, in the Graphics tab under Enhancements you can raise the Internal Resolution and AA/AF until the game looks nicer. Most other settings can be left alone as games will automatically set any changes they need

Should I choose something in "backend" setting? Right now it's blank.

Those cutscenes you're talking about are pre-rendered at 480p, they're not in-game cutscenes so nothing can be done to make them look better.
