I saw guy on youtube who changed resolution in Nexus 9, that improved fps in emulaetd games but i can't find any tutorial how to do it RE: Is Nexus 9 better in Gamecube emulation better than Nvidia Shield Tablet? - mstreurman - 03-14-2018 (03-14-2018, 05:01 AM)muniek34 Wrote: Is it possible to change system resolution ex. to 800x600 of Shield Tablet? Dolphin is 64bit end of story, 32bit is just too slow, no way around it that is why support was dropped. But what the change in resolution is, is just changing the Internal Resolution of what the game is rendered at. 1x being the lowest possible in Dolphin and the fastest, 1x IR means the original game resolution. RE: Is Nexus 9 better in Gamecube emulation better than Nvidia Shield Tablet? - Helios - 03-14-2018 They're using an old build which has 32 bit support. Which means that they're much, much less likely to get anybody to care enough to help.

I meant to change the resolution in which entire android apps will be displayed on the tablet. I don't know if rooting of device is neccessary, in system settings of android (Lollipop) there is no option to change the screen resolution. The screen in Nvidia Tablet is displayed in 1920x1200 resolution. Unless you change the IR in dolphin's settings, it'll render at the native resolution of the gamecube anyway no matter the screen resolution. Changing the screen resolution will not affect dolphin's performance in any way outside of that setting. Actually, the Nexus 9 runs the 64-bit version of android as it uses the 64-bit dual-core version of the K1 chip. RE: Is Nexus 9 better in Gamecube emulation better than Nvidia Shield Tablet? - Helios - 03-15-2018 They were talking about the Shield Tablet. Third and fourth word of their post. |
