Hello i am in need of some help to use Dolphin - Faketurd - 11-22-2009
Hello i legally obtained an ISO for a gamecube game(ripped my own). My gamecube is at my friends house and he is not planning on giving it back. I followed all the instructions given in the sticky http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-3533.html but i cannot get it to work. I hope i haven't already broken any of your rules, if not continue reading please.
The emulator will show the "banner" for the ISO but will not do anything when double clicked. No black screen, no error message, nothing. If someone could help that would be great ^.^
specs are as follows :
Windows XP64-bit
intel duel core at 2.40GHz
2gb DDR2 RAM
high wattage power supply.
any other specs needed for helping me i will list upon request. Hope i have not broken any rules ^.^y

Check "use panic handlers" ( to see the error messages when booting) in general options and tell us the game

i am trying to boot Super smash brothers: melee
I had been using it with panic handlers off, when i did check it on and tried to run it this is the error messages i got:
Error loading plugins/plugin_padsimple.dll: cant read info
cant int any PAD plugins
couldnt init the core check your configuration
The ISO im using is from a scratched game disc, i can try another game if needed.
If any other information is needed just ask :3

Dolphin needs you have to have the libraries listed below installed.
[Windows]
-MS Visual C++ Runtime 2008 SP1: This fixes the "side by side" / "application config" & model errors
Microsoft VC++ 2008 SP1 Redist x86 - For 32bit Windows
Microsoft VC++ 2008 SP1 Redist x64 - For 64bit Windows
-The DirectX March 2009 Runtime: This fixes the plugin loading errors
Note: THIS MEANS UPDATE YOUR DIRECTX EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE VERSION 9.0c or 10 or 10.1!!!!!!

Thank you so much!! its working just fine now! i do have a question, is there a list of configurations corresponding to the games ? just to have saved for future use if my interwebz dies.
