Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - adrian2055 - 11-22-2009 Hey guys, I finally got my wiimote working (thanks for all the help). Now I have a quick question. I've been hearing about a way to make a homemade wii sensor bar. Naturally, I came here for help instead of reading the many messed up answers that yahoo and google can produce. What do I need to make one for myself? RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - Diddy Kong - 11-22-2009 Try turning to youtube, if you can learn to trust it, i recall seeing a few videos on this. RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - James333 - 11-22-2009 I know a page , but is in spanish Well , you can see the pictures at least RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - razor1911 - 11-22-2009 I made one recently you need at least 2 IR LEDs seperated by few centimeters distance. I made mine to plug into the computer usb. if you want more info I will be glad to share the design and the components regards RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - James333 - 11-22-2009 I forgot to say that you can use two candles ( I did it once and it worked ) RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - nosound97 - 11-22-2009 Candles trick works, but use it carefully
RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - StripTheSoul - 11-22-2009 actually I'm only using candles since I've tried once...I did buy a wireless sensorbar but 1. it needs a lot of batteries (which are more expensive then candles ) and 2. the candles even seem to work better for me ^^Only you cannot have any other candles burning in the room, for obvious reasons... RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - razor1911 - 11-23-2009 I started with the candle root. apart of setting your pc on fire, the other problem that my eyes start to hurt me, staring in the candles for a long time is bad for your eyes, even if you are not looking directly into them RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - James333 - 11-23-2009 turn on the lights of the room ;P RE: Homemade IR Sensor Bar????? - adrian2055 - 11-23-2009 (11-22-2009, 10:12 AM)Diddy Kong Wrote: Try turning to youtube, if you can learn to trust it, i recall seeing a few videos on this. I looked there, but I didn't see one that told mer what to do step by step. I'll look again. (11-22-2009, 11:18 AM)razor1911 Wrote: I made one recently Thanks! I would love to know how to make one.
