Gamecube vs Wii Emu Performance - RoyBrown - 11-17-2009

I'm sure this has been posted before, but after searching both google and here I found nothin'.

Anyway.

When running Wind Waker or Twilight Princess.

Is there a difference in performance between the two versions?

I could only Assume the Wii version runs smoother?

No, the Wii and the Gamecube have the same specs I thought and in Dolphin it's running the same speed (25-30 FPS in Gamecube and Wii for me).

Zelda TPGamecube is running about 5 or 6 fps faster for me.

Wind Waker doesn't have a Wii version. GC version is fastest for TP. But whether or not the game is for Wii or GC isn't the most important factor, it's what type of code functions the games uses, and if they run in 30 or 60 FPS. E.g TP uses lots of vertex loaders in Hyrule Field that makes it really slow (don't ask me what a vertex loader is)
