Pretty good deal on the video card. I had a 9600 gso with that same cooler. Does a pretty good job. Take into account the gts 250 is low on heat you should be good. I don't think that cooler fan has any problems but I know my bfg gts 250 fan idled to low (15% speed for some reason) so I used Expertool to raise it control my fan speed. In a 75F room with the fanspeed on 50% I get 38C. You should be definitely in that ballpark or lower with that cooler. Good deal. Hope you enjoy that build. Game on.

everyones critiquing the video card (which is fine, i totally understand), but bear in mind that this build was mostly for dolphin. granted, ill probably be playing some other games, but the fact is i dont really need a top o da line vid card so....

Cheaper - Yes
Uses less power No

Check the power consumption charts from here

You can also get i5 which cheaper than i7 and better than PHenomII

Um...I hate to continue this any further with another post, but you realize he already built it right? Shows over folks! Mace if you have any problems with it I would suggest you start up a new thread for that.
