Super Mario Sunshine polllution issue - melangeaddict - 11-16-2009

Hi all!

I recently downloaded build 4579 this morning, and found that when playing Super Mario Sunshine the pollution you need to spray away has some major issues...like not being there and not going away when you spray it.

To be honest, this has been happening for a while now, but I just kept getting the latest builds hoping that it would be fixed, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

I'm using the NTSC version of SMS and build 4579, like I said. I prefer the DX9 plugin for speed, but I have issues with the goo with it and the opengl with copy to eram enabled does the same thing. I'm running Vista 64 and Geforce 9600 with the latest drivers. Any suggestions would be great...it's hard to play without being able to clean up the island!!!

Thanks

I never enabled it...

I do have the safe texture cache and the Enable CPU > EFB Access enabled...

It won't work with the DirectX plugin (it's not yet implemented), as simple as that.
You must use the OpenGL plugin with "Copy EFB to Ram" and disable "force filtering" for it to work as it should.

There won't be any big issues, except for the goo, it won't be "washable", which leads to broken gameplay experience in some levels and some stars/blue coins you won't be able to earn.
