Where do we stand on this currently? I know this comes up from time to time but we have alot of MP games coming out that will make it hard knowing we can only do the SP experience...namely New Super Mario Bros. Wii (which will probably be the best Wii game ever IMO)!!
I'm not asking for it or demaning it or anything like that, I'm just trying to get an update for myself and I guess everyone else.
Is anyone working on this? I take it this would be a massive undertaking? Anybody planning on taking this on? Is there anything in the works? Just trying to get a gauge if possible - a month, a year, tomorrow? I'm sure no one really knows the answer, but if we can something *anything* I think that would make it a bit easier to decide to hold off on playing a game for this or just play it on the Wii now since it's going to be quite a while....I hate using the wiimote ( I prefer 360 pad ) and I hate anything 640X480!! Boy, I sound like a complainer....sorry. I just like using Dolphin for everything - I'll take a few glitches given all that it adds to the gameplay experience.Anyway, the emulator is so unbelieveably awesome and this is just the most "substantial" thing missing that really affects playing Wii games. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer and we can play the Resident Evil's, the Mario games with our friends....that will be a good day.

that thread really has nothing to do with the problem.
lpfaint was working on it; I think he's been pretty busy IRL lately.

I think that thread is about what I'm discussing. Sounds like Nicolica was interesting in the undertaking but who knows.
Cool, thanks for the replies. Looks like there's some hope....maybe...at this point I would seriously put money on the table to see this implemented...actually I will. How's about 25$ via paypal if it can be done say in the next month"ish" to the coder that puts it in (I'm only looking for one more Wiimote also - 2 total...for now). I saw some guy do this for Jabo to fix the N64 Goldeneye sky and sure enough Jabo did. Not sure if he got the money though.
But I'm good for it, trust me. Otherwise, ban my IP for life or something like that. Any one else what to throw in? Something tells me no one wants to do this and needs a little...financial motivation.
Don't forget you would go down in the history books as the guy(s) (you can split it) as the one who finally gave Dolphin Wiimote MP ability. They would probably build a coulpe statues and write some sonits or something.Let's do this!!!!

I'd paypal $5 lol this is pointless but if we all put in enough maybe we can just buy a Wii and play together

Pointless? Maybe... I don't know. You never know though, couldn't hurt right? Hopefully not.
And I have a Wii, I just like using Dolphin more!!!
