Vulkan render issue - ZEROx - 02-16-2017

some games like Zelda Wind Waker, Pikmin, Luigi Mansion, Mario Sunshine have an issue with vulkan renderer(ogl works fine)
during rendering various objects leaving black traces, here's the video
The video is not mine but i have exactly the same problem
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gl1H83h9nhg
i'm on Adreno 530, i'm not sure  if other vendor have this, also no all games suffer from this bug, among my games RE4 and Mortal Kombat Deception works fine even on vulkan. I'd like to know if it's a driver or emu issue, and of course can it be fixed

Likely a driver bug. Such issues aren't known on the desktop, neither on nvidia nor amd. So I doubt it is our vulkan code.

To bad, anyway thanks for reply

Why is it every time something doesn't work it's automatically the drivers fault? I honestly just feel like the Android version is ignored. Even recent builds aren't including Android links. Which is fine, if people are just going to half-ass it, mine as well just kill it. But to claim a driver bug every single time there's an issue is laughable.

To OP, same issue here on 3 different handsets with 3 different gpu's, that are from 2 different companies. So I guess everyone's drivers are just screwed up? Smh.

Tell the driver developers to stop half-assing their drivers, then we can talk.

But all games that are properly supported for smartphones work? Other emulators work without issues? So...wouldn't more people say the drivers are bad? Wouldn't more games have issues globally?

Please stop posting about things you don't know anything about even after stating that you don't know anything about it.

Because we have to match the way games expect the GameCube/Wii GPU to work, we have less choice in how to implement things, and thus fewer ways of avoiding driver problems. Keep in mind that some of the things we are required to do for proper emulation are quite unusual for Android programs. And it doesn't help that we right now seem to have 0 devs who want to work on making workarounds for mobile driver bugs and shortcomings.

And this is a fair and honest response. I appreciate it. Nice to see SOMEONE on the board with true knowledge.  Thank you.
