i5 - HQ 7300 vs i7 - HQ 7700 - DarkHacker - 02-07-2017 A laptop (avell.com.br/titanium-w1513-iron) equipped with i5 7300HQ and GTX 1050 is enough to play NGC and Wii in dolphin? (games: Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart and Monster Hunter series) The i7 would bring some advantage? I'm considering buying the laptop. but I worry about the temperature of the components while the emulator runs...
RE: i5 - HQ 7300 vs i7 - HQ 7700 - admin89 - 02-12-2017 Laptop with dual fan cooling solution will not overheat unless they pack it with GTX 1070 or a desktop CPU Sometimes the manufacturer is forgetful enough to leave a tape between the GPU and GPU heatpipe , I saw that on notebookreview-forum , his GPU hit 99 degree Celsius immediately . They did not do that on purpose of course , it's just a luck of a draw , the one who make your laptop is human after all Well , if your laptop has a removable backplate like mine , you can fix it easily by reapplying thermal compound... |
