Hi guys,
Just wanted to confirm since the new intel g4560 cannot be overclocked does that mean the g3258 overclocked will marginally outperform it?

According to Dolphin Benchmark , Skylake is 10% faster than Haswell . So 3.5GHz Kabylake should be as fast as 3.8GHz Haswell which is 10% slower than G3258 @ 4.2GHz
If 10% performance is enough to give up Hyperthreading then go for it

On Dolphin both would perform roughly the same, however G4560 will offer better performance on other applications since it have Hyperthreading which the aging G3258 lacks...
