News on wiimote-audio for older wiimotes? - LAMeduck - 02-03-2017 So, according to this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3JkJjvB0ZY speaker data works great with a Wii Remote Plus. I have an older model without a built-in MotionPlus. Speaker data in Mario Galaxy 2 sounds like a distorted mess. In the description in the video above it says that standard wiimote audio "will be looked into in the future." Any news? Something one can do? RE: News on wiimote-audio for older wiimotes? - ExtremeDude2 - 02-03-2017 If you use bluetooth passthrough it should work. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough RE: News on wiimote-audio for older wiimotes? - LAMeduck - 02-03-2017 (02-03-2017, 05:05 AM)ExtremeDude2 Wrote: If you use bluetooth passthrough it should work.I'm using the Mayflash DolphinBar which is reported to not be supported according to that page. RE: News on wiimote-audio for older wiimotes? - ExtremeDude2 - 02-03-2017 Then I think you are out of luck, unless the dolphin bar is supposed to already fix audio. Oh, alright, thank you for your response. Do you know if the problem lies with Dolphin or has it got something to do with the bluetooth device? Is it possibleĀ it will ever get fixed? RE: News on wiimote-audio for older wiimotes? - ExtremeDude2 - 02-04-2017 It's the bluetooth stack afaik, that's why you need to enable passthrough so that dolphin can take control. RE: News on wiimote-audio for older wiimotes? - JulianLoehr - 02-05-2017 It's not the Bluetooth stack per se. It seems to be more like a timing issue, caused by the delay the stack induces. There is likely some room for improvements, but that'll require some extensive research and testing. |
