Can't find my USB drive to add folders - Tony_2000 - 01-27-2017 Hi - I've been using Dolphin on and off for a while now on my Nvidia Shield TV (on a v4 build) and decided to update to a v5 revision (started with the latest one and tried a few others). I deleted any old Dolphin settings files I already had on the system and uninstalled my old build prior to installing a v5 revision. However, now that I've installed a newer build, I can't seem to be able to access my USB drive to add a ROM path. I do the logical steps - Add Folder, Up One Level, but can't seem to go any further than the 'emulated' & 'self', just get a blank index. I was able to set a USB drive as a path in my old build, can anyone give me an idea of where I'm going wrong here (any help would be appreciated). Cheers
RE: Can't find my USB drive to add folders - degasus - 01-27-2017 IIRC you need to go another step up. /storage/emulated is read protected, that's why you see an empty directory. When I go another step up from /storage/emulated, I only see a blank index, and this does not change no matter how many times I select 'Up One Level' - do I need to enable something on the Shield to allow Dolphin to see my USB drive? I could find it before, and I can see it on ES Explorer and other apps - it's where I store my Dolphin builds and ROM folders. RE: Can't find my USB drive to add folders - Tony_2000 - 01-27-2017 Thanks for your help - the actual issue has disappeared now...I think it may have been due to me trying to install Dolphin following a fresh OTA update (Android 7.0). I reset the Shield and re-installed Dolphin, and voila, I could once again access my USB drive (no more blank indexes) ? |
