New Super Mario Bros doesn't save in a good way - logos88 - 01-24-2017

Hi! I have started the game, but sometimes (twice actually) when I come back to play and charge the saved game, it doesn't start in the last save point I did, but in a previous one from other time.

I save with the quicksave option inside the game. I am doing something wrong?

Do you see the message after quick saving that it wrote the save to the file? If so it should work. You can also try savestates e.g. hold shift+F1 in-game and then load by taping the F1 button. It will work for any F key you assign, and they are separate to each other so you can set multiple ones if you wanted.

Isn't the quicksave option inside the game the kind of quicksave that you only are allowed to load once? I don't remember exactly how this game works, but if it's like New Super Mario Bros for the DS, you can only make normal saves at the end of a tower/fortress level (until you beat the game).

I just checked and on the map you have a save option and I tested it and it works. I remember the quick save option but can't remember where it was while playing.

Is that before beating the game or after beating the game?

Just checked and it's on both unbeaten and 100% completed games.
