xbox 360 controller not detected - Imakittymoo1337 - 01-18-2017
I am having the exact same problem https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-360-controller-not-detected-when-configuring-wiimote-emulation?highlight=controller+not+detected had.
Dolphin will not detect my wired xbox 360 controller.
My 360 controller has drivers installed manually, it works with steam games, and windows detects it just fine.
I'm using Dolphin 5.0 x64 with no tweaks. Dolphin runs games fine using my keyboard.
I've tried refreshing, rebooting, reconnecting, and I've had this problem for months.

May sound stupid, but here's two ideas I have for this:
1) After plugging in the controller, have you pressed the refresh button in the Dolphin Controller panel? (just trying to clarify what you mean by refreshing)
2) In the Device manager, under the Xbox controller property window, what driver number does it say it is using? (pictures may help here)

When I get home from school I'll double check my wired controller that works to verify if it is using the same driver version.

Ok, so mine is using Driver Version 10.0.14393.0 [7/15/2016]
If you click the Update Driver button > Browse my computer > Let me pick from a list, then it should auto load a list of Xbox drivers (if not scroll down to the bottom of the list and choose Xbox), and then choose the version 10 driver and it should work.
