Why can't a phone be used as a Wiimote? - Vinex - 01-15-2017

I'm really new here so I apologise if this sounds really stupid or has been asked many times before but I couldn't find anything like this. A phone has about all the sensors necessary so why can't it be possible?

Try using a phone as a Wii Remote on a Wii. It won't work obviously. To do so in an emulator would require a lot of code to be maintained, and currently, there is no feature for it.

The main answer is that nobody has stepped up to implement and maintain such a feature right now. Though there are other problems too - how would the IR camera work, for instance?

IR is already emulated using the Mouse. It might be a hassle but it can work..
