HDMI NO SOUND - doi=g - 01-08-2017 In the beginning, there was no sound. My brick (laptop) screen is a tv. Updated my graphics card and noticed a new sound device had been set to default (AMD). Disabled new device and set default back to realtek speakers and success!....audio out of my computer speakers....while connected via hdmi to tv....changed default to realtek digital output, no sound again. Currently in XAudio, as openAL "can't find devices" and reads me the riot act regardless of default audio settings. I initially started in version 5 of dolphin, but switched to 4 because XAudio was not an option in version 5 and all the posts i've seen involved XAudio. I have no issue playing other audio through my HDMI connection. windows 7 Anyone seen this issue before? RE: HDMI NO SOUND - mbc07 - 01-08-2017 The new device you've disabled is probably the HDMI audio, re-enable and select it as the audio output device. And BTW, we only offer support for the latest stable release (currently 5.0) or builds released after it... RE: HDMI NO SOUND - doi=g - 01-08-2017 When i started dolphin for the first time in version 5 my audio default was set to the device I later disabled (the AMD device installed during update). The sound didnt work on the disabled device to begin with. I had to switch to version 4 because it was the only way I could find XAudio. I'm looking for help to make the audio function in version 5. |
