Android bluetooth controller - bembmx - 01-04-2017 Ok I looked but could not find any help so sorry if this has been brought up. I am currently using the newest version of the Android app. I am trying to map my controls. While mapping it will see all the controls and acknowledge the input. Once I start the game it will not let me go up or down on the D-pad. Is there any reason for this? I tried two different controllers and it wont work. I am not sure what to do. It is frustrating. Touch controls are not bad but a gamepad would be so much better. It appears all the other controls work but up and down. RE: Android bluetooth controller - MayImilae - 01-04-2017 What is your phone, what is your controller, and what Dolphin version are you using? Oh, and- *waves her magic moderator wand* Moved to controllers! RE: Android bluetooth controller - bembmx - 01-05-2017 My phone is a Google PIxel XL. I am using Dolphin 5.0-1626 the controller I tried so far is the MOGA PRO the other is a BEBONCOOL (was cheap on amazon but works good with other apps) I also tried to plus my xbox one controller into my phone with a USB adapter but the phone must not have the drivers or anything. I appears that every button works except the Up and Down from what I can tell. I also tried mapping the left joystick on the Dpad instead and that also did not work. THanks for the help. RE: Android bluetooth controller - JosJuice - 01-05-2017 Maybe the settings aren't being saved properly when exiting the input configuration? I heard it doesn't get saved if you press the X, or something like that. RE: Android bluetooth controller - bembmx - 01-05-2017 I think I may have found a solution. I figured id post it in case anyone is having issues. under CPU core I switched it from JIT ARM64 recompiler to cached interpreter (honestly have no idea what either of those mean.) I mapped the controller and got it to work but the emulator ran so slow it was unreal. I switched it back after tinckering with the controls (was having issues because up was down and down was up) I put it back to JIT ARM64 and now it appears to be working (at least at the moment. |
