Trying to run Super Smash Bros Melee at 60fps- need some help. - EurekaDramaX - 12-29-2016

Long story short-I play the game competitively so I like a no lag environment.
Now the exact problem lies on the stages Yoshi's Story and Fountain Of Dreams. YS runs at 40fps-sh while FoD...is like 10, with the entire stage loaded.
(Also, Pokemon Stadium without transformations runs at 50fps while the transformations make it 30fps)
My specs are;
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Windows 10 Pro x64
8GB RAM

Anything I need to do relating to dolphin/upgrade my computer to run the game better? Thank you.

I don't even know how dolphin runs on that, your first thing to look at would be getting a real GPU.

Yeah. Melee is a super easy to emulate game but that CPU is old. I think the GPU is killing you even more here though. That CPU should be barely enough for melee
