Barebone/Mini PC for 480 or 720p (GC)? - Lexx - 12-28-2016 Hey there, Dolphins! I'm looking to build myself a little Emulation- or more like a Retro-Station. I would like to play some Gamecube games aswell. My Budget is limited to around 200 Bucks. What I've found recently are the MSI Cubi and the Gigabyte Brix J1900 or 3150. There were quite a lot of topics I was reading here for gaming in 1080p. I wouldn't mind playing in 720p or even 480p, aslong as the frames are somewhat stable. Is it possible to get a budget Mini-PC, that could run it? <3 Lexx RE: Barebone/Mini PC for 480 or 720p (GC)? - admin89 - 12-28-2016 Quote:MSI Cubi and Gigabyte Brix J1900 or 3150.The brix J1900 has a mobile Ivy Bridge Intel HD that is even slower than Intel HD 2000 . It doesn't meet the requirement to run game at 480p The second one (3150) has a Braswell Intel HD 5300 that does meet the minimum requirement for 480p . However, the processor is too slow for most games , only a few games can be playable on it , same deal for the MSI https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/faq/#which-cpu-should-i-use Your budget is way too low for Dolphin , please spend at least 300-400$ for a proper PC |
