Dolphin Setup Question - shivuan - 12-16-2016
Hi there,
i'm pretty new with dolphin and "emulations" in general and i wanted to ask and get sure before messing up with everything.
First of all, i'm planning to play my WII games since they're looking much better in PC and want to get sure if my System can handle WII in general and if so, can i also use tweaks and mods like HD textures?
Second, I do have a SSD and ive installed Dolphin there. My question is, where i should put the ISO games? on the SSD or HDD? does this make a difference?
I do appreciate any help! and thank you very much for this emulator btw @DEV team!.

The games should run fast enough from either one of them (since the games originally were designed to run from a DVD drive which is even slower than a regular HDD).

I understand you're new, but you have to recognize that the first part of your question is a bit silly. You have a bleeding edge top 1% PC. It'll run basically everything you throw at it. It's like asking "Hey guys, will my Lamborghini Aventador be able to keep up with traffic on the freeway?" So yes, your PC will absolutely conquer Dolphin without breaking a sweat. That doesn't mean that everything will be absolutely smooth 100% of the time. This is emulation, after all.
Regarding the second part, SSDs don't really change anything because Dolphin emulates the disc read speed to prevent unexpected errors.

Everytime I see questions like that, I kind of assume people have no idea what they have. They know they have a i7-6700k, but have no idea what that means or how powerful it is. But, assuming he bought the system himself, he should realize what he was purchasing. Unless someone just gave him that pc. Or maybe he was trying to gloat and really show off what he had, and was just playing dumb. I just recently setup this new pc I have & made sure that it could run just about anything I threw at it

Iv often seen people say ssd make difference in games but personally iv never seen any difference, iv tested on both ssd and hdd and dolphin emu games ran exactly the same
