Can I run Dolphin fairly well, GC/Wii, and to what resolution on a Surface Pro 4? - Kelton2 - 12-13-2016 I have an i5 SP4 and I was wondering to what level could I use Dolphin on it. Simple as that, really. RE: Can I run Dolphin fairly well, GC and Wii, and to what resolution on a Surface Pro 4? - mbc07 - 12-13-2016 Accordingly to a quick search, the Surface Pro 4 uses an i5-6300U and it's embedded Intel HD 520 GPU. It's also a compact device, so, assuming it doesn't overheat and can keep it's 3.0GHz Turbo Boost clock for prolonged times, you should be able to play lightweight and medium games in Dolphin just fine at up to 720p resolution, but it might struggle a bit with heavy games like Super Mario Galaxy or The Last Story... RE: Can I run Dolphin fairly well, GC and Wii, and to what resolution on a Surface Pro 4? - Helios - 12-13-2016 It won't keep that turbo boost clock lol Can I run Dolphin fairly well, GC and Wii, and to what resolution on a Surface Pro 4? - mbc07 - 12-13-2016 Yes, it's very unlikely, hence my "assuming it doesn't overheat"... |
