when will dolphin 5.0 support linux, the only one i see that supports linux is 4.0 which is kinda old. i would like to have the latest and greatest 5.0 on linux.

Every build supports Linux, including 5.0 and every dev build since.

I'm not sure you could even use the 4.0 precompiled version because it is distro specific, which is why you have to compile.

We don't provide packages anymore. You have to compile from git master for linux.

What Kurausukun said is still correct, the difference is that we're not auto-compiling Linux builds of 5.0 and post releases anymore. You have to compile it yourself or use the provided PPA (if compatible with your Linux distro).
