Two dolphin on the same windows? - wilsonjunior - 11-30-2016
Hello. I need to have two two dolphin 5.0s on the same windows. Has as?
Well I would like to have one dolphin configured for true wiimote and the other only dolphin for xbox joystick.
I do not want to keep changing in the emulator. I will use hyperspin and I will create two themes, a theme for windows with joystick of xbox and another theme just for joystick wiimote.

download a development build (or just copy dolphin from program files to a new folder)
and put a blank "portable.txt" file next to dolphin.exe
This will create a portable install you can keep entirely separate.

Hello. When I create two folders of the dolphin emulator and change the settings of one, it changes in the other one as well. Because the settings are saved in / Documents / Dolphin Emulator, it does not have another folder of the dolphin emulator.
I did not understand about the Portable.txt. How do I do that? There must be some inside this Portable.txt file.

You simply have to create an empty file named "portable.txt" and put it next to Dolphin.exe.

Worked perfectly. It worked, create a Portable.txt file and leave it at the root of Dolphin 5.0. Now the settings I make are inside the emulator folder. I can even create more separate Dolphin folders and use it separately.
