The GPU supports HDMI 2.0, its possible the monitor doesn't support it

Ok but I bought my cable only 4 months ago plus my monitor is an dell s2817q

The monitor also supports 4k at 60 fps. Try getting a better cable at this point?

Ok then I am sure that I will probably run at 1440p
