Odd Behavior with Relative Input - Kurausukun - 11-05-2016 I really wanted to try relative input since I play most of my games with a Wii U Pro Controller since it's a pain for me to set up a sensor bar. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work; if I'm not pressing anything on my right stick, it immediately moves upward continuously. Here's a screenshot of my controller config: [attachment=15416] Is there something obvious I'm missing? For what it's worth, I'm trying to play Galaxy with it. The controller config seems to show what I would expect to happen, but my pointer in-game always moves up if I'm not holding another direction as I mentioned. RE: Odd Behavior with Relative Input - mimimi - 11-05-2016 Did you try increasing the Dead Zone? You issue sounds a lot like a not properly centered analog stick, which is usually fixed by increasing the Dead Zone. RE: Odd Behavior with Relative Input - Kurausukun - 11-06-2016 I did try that, but it seems to max out at 20, as shown in the picture. It actually made it worse in a way since now I really have to move the joystick a lot to stop it from moving up. I'll try deleting my entire controller config files and see if it works then. RE: Odd Behavior with Relative Input - Kurausukun - 11-07-2016 Alright, I fixed it by deleting my control config and starting again from nothing. I think it was probably something to do with my center/dimensions, but who knows. At least it works now. |
