Disk not going into computer? - megaman2 - 10-29-2016
I'm new to this forum so tell me if I do something wrong here.
I found a Mario Party 8 disk, but my Wii's been broken for years, so I decided to try Dolphin here. Unfortunately, when I tried to put my disk in the disk drive, it tries to read it, then it comes out automatically. I've tried both sides but it still comes out of the disk drive. Are there any common solutions to this problem? I am using Arch Linux, if that helps.

Your PC cannot read Wii or GC discs.
There are a few extremely rare exceptions. You do not have that.
You have to get a Wii, install the homebrew channel on it, then use CleanRip homebrew to dump the disc to ISO.

Yes, but only for Wii discs, not GameCube discs.
