Hybrid Wiimote? - WhyDoINeedAUsername? - 10-28-2016 So I was playing Skyward Sword and guess what, my nunchuck broke (the cable, not the actual nunchuck) So I turned to the controller options and see if I can use something else instead, there I see the Hybrid Wiimote option and I assumed it was supposed to let me use keyboard/controller input at the same time as using an actual Wiimote. Result? Skyward Sword doesn't recognise the configured nunchuck or the broken one. Curious on the setting I try Super Mario Galaxy 2. Result? Completely ignores the controller (works fine when it's just the controller, no wiimote, though). Am I doing this wrong or is it a bug? Is this even in the correct forum section? (PAL games btw if that matters) RE: Hybrid Wiimote? - ExtremeDude2 - 10-28-2016 You can't use hybrid wiimote in games that use the motion+ RE: Hybrid Wiimote? - The Nitpick - 11-03-2016 Similar question> Spectrobes: Origins requires both aiming at the screen (menus, targeting, etc.) and motion controls (searching, battles, etc.). I haven't figured out how to use motion controls in an emulated Wiimote, and when I connect my real controller it suddenly refuses to recognize any IR sources I point it towards. I was hoping to use the real Wiimote for pretty much everything and only use the mouse for the point-and-click parts, but can't figure out how to make the hybrid work; it keeps setting the default Nunchuck to the keyboard instead of the one plugged into the real Wii remote. Tell me what I'm doing wrong. It _has_ to be a user error. >_> |
