On Linux, Installed Dolphin but can't start because it can't load libportuadio.so - pytn - 10-24-2016 So, I had Dolphin installed but wound up deleting it because I wasn't using it much. I recently reinstalled it and much to my dismay it won't start now. I try and run it and gives me the following error. dolphin-emu: error while loading shared libraries: libportaudio.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The thing is that I have searched for, and found the libportaudio.so file so I don't really know what to do now. I have tried reinstalling Dolphin multiple times. I am using Fedora 24. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks Peyton RE: On Linux, Installed Dolphin but can't start because it can't load libportuadio.so - leolam - 10-25-2016 You need to reinstall the PortAudio shared library. I'm not sure what the package name is with Fedora (according to a quick search, "portaudio"?), but after you install the lib, it should work fine. |
