My unwanted/unrelated 2 cents: What I find interesting is that around the same time Platinum Games made Bayonetta/Bayonetta 2, they also made another game about a strong female video-game character protagonist: The Legend of Korra. The gameplay elements are very similar (combat and overworld exploration) to the Bayonetta games, but without any of the sexualization of Bayonetta. Plot problems aside, the game does a good job of using a powerful and well-written female protagonist without oversexualizing Korra. Although that may have more to do with what they were allowed to do based on source material and the target audience being much younger than the M-rated Bayonetta series.....

Somehow I knew something like that was going to happen when she booted up, but it still amazed me somehow.

I'm still going to avoid it though. It's not really my kind of game!
