How new is the dolphin for android in the appstore? - Silithas - 10-14-2016 The latest dolphin build i found was from today, but according to the playstore version, the playstore version is 0.14 rather than the today's being 0.13? RE: How new is the dolphin for android in the appstore? - JosJuice - 10-14-2016 The Play Store version is very outdated. RE: How new is the dolphin for android in the appstore? - Silithas - 10-14-2016 Why doesn't it get updated more often? Is it cause the builds after the plays store version isn't stable enough to release? And "enable dualcore" does that only use 2 cores then? cause my s7 edge has 8 cores. RE: How new is the dolphin for android in the appstore? - degasus - 10-14-2016 There should be no build in the google play store any more. The point is, neither the best device available are fast enough to play many games. So we don't see the point in supporting lots of users crying for more performance... It's really hard to tell users that just because their mobile costs 700 bucks doesn't imply that it's a fast device. Yes, essentially. Dolphin is not able to use an arbitrary amount of cores fully. There is more information about this in the FAQ. RE: How new is the dolphin for android in the appstore? - Silithas - 10-14-2016 Ok, cause if it was able to (4 times more cores) we would actually see a significant increase in performance! Or am i wrong? Or am i wrong? It's impossible to use that many cores for the CPU-intensive parts of GC/Wii emulation. Or am i wrong? Yeah, you can run 4-8 instances of dolphin at once at the same speed. But no one of them will be faster. RE: How new is the dolphin for android in the appstore? - MayImilae - 10-14-2016 I did a search of the play store, and um... Dolphin Emulator is not on there anymore. Where did you see this exactly? RE: How new is the dolphin for android in the appstore? - Helios - 10-14-2016 If there is any entry for Dolphin in the play store, it is fake and we would like to know.
