I have to use syncGPU with metroid prime trilogy or I get flickering the first couple runs after I update the emulator.  Can this be fixed so that it doesn't crash?

Does it work in 5.0-1010?

SyncGPU wasn't working at all before 5.0-1012. It should not crash, but it should stutter a bit on the first runs.

Does dolphin crash, or is it a ingame crash?

By the way, you likely want to disable both idle skipping and "sync gpu on idle skipping" (ini option only), as this "fixes" the stutter. But it makes the game emulation fragile as hell. Use at your own risk.

Odd I first used 5.0-993 when I enabled syncgpu because without it, the game would flicker non stop the first couple of runs. It stopped as soon as I upgraded to 5.0-993 and enabled syncgpu. So either it was a coincident that the game didn't flicker or syncgpu was actually working on 5.0-993.
