Using 2 mice on Wii emulator via Glovepie? - Kazuma88 - 09-24-2016

I want to play Mario Party 8 with a friend. I dont have Wii Remote so i have to use controller and mice for emulating. The problem is the IR feature is a very important thing in this game. I can use my mice  as IR,and it's not problem if only i play. The problem starts when my friend wants to play too because we cant use 2 mice at the same time

I used GlovePie and had 2 cursors but still cant make it work on Dolphin emulator properly. Is this even possible? So i want to make mice 1 act as Wii Remote 1 (IR) and mice 2 act as Wii Remote 2 (IR)

The other parts of Wii Remote are not important because i could configure them properly on my 2 controllers. I only have problems with IR

If it's not possible then is there any way to configure IR to controller? The problem is when i use analog as IR then the cursor always goes back to the center of screen when i stop rotating the analog

You can use your controller for the IR, but as you can see, the cursor goes back to the center. PR 4010 adds a "relative input" option so it won't go back to the center and will work as expected for an IR cursor.

Not sure if you can choose a specific mouse to use as the device, especially on Windows

Honestly, it'd probably just be easier to use a real Wii Remote.

The relative input option would be a perfect solution for me.Thank you very much for this advice! The problem is i dont know how to install /activate the PR 4010. Can you help me about this please? I guess i have to download something and place it to a specific folder?

There are pre-built versions at https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/

Thank you but right after my message i found the relative option in settings. However when i make a tick in the square of relative input option and press ok then it does not work because everytime i come back to the settings the tick dissapears from the square..Why is that? Every tick stays in the other squares except at the relative input Sad

The setting certainly does persist here, and for at least one other user, not sure why it doesn't for you.

I've rebased the PR. Maybe that could fix the issue (likely not, but you never know with the WX stuff)

Im sorry but im very ignorant in this topic. I did not notice the relative input option within the IR settings. I saw other relative input at a different place in settings.Im sorry for wasting your time and thank you for the help. This relative input option solved my problem
