Controller being detected but can't input with them - Mozendo - 09-21-2016 So here's the thing, I recently reformatted my windows and I had dolphin running fine so now I want to emulate some games and I can't use my controllers. So Dolphin detects my controller, but aside from that I can't input any buttons. You might be thinking 1. Do you have the right controller drivers installed? I do, even the driverless ones aren't working. 2. It might be your controller. It's not I've tried 4 different controllers and they all have the same issue. They work fine in PC games and in other emulators like Snes9X but not RetroArch for some reason. Anyone have a suggestion? I honestly have no idea what the cause can be. Edit: Controls are iBuffalo SNES, Xbox 360, and Dualshock 4, GameSir G3s RE: Controller being detected but can't input with them - Mozendo - 10-01-2016 Anyone recommend any sort of driver downloads at least? Still have this issue RE: Controller being detected but can't input with them - DatAxe - 10-06-2016 I'm having the same issue, have all the drivers installed and tested in the usb controller settings to see if my controller is responsive. Plays flawlessly on other games with controller support, and is detected by dolphin, but the inputs stay grayed out. I do have xinput/0/gamepad selected, so that's not the issue. I live in Japan and the layout is in Japanese, but other than the language i find that all the settings are in the same place and do the same thing on the English version as well. RE: Controller being detected but can't input with them - DatAxe - 10-06-2016 Precisely. Usually at least the analog sticks are lit red from the tutorials that I've seen, but everything is grayed out. When i click on a control to change and press a button on the controller, it doesnt do anything and then reverts back to the default control it once was. |
