MayFlash + Real Wiimote Partly Working - Darrell_1979 - 09-18-2016

I have the MayFlash Dolphin Bar and Dolphin 5.0. My Wiimote's sync with the Dolphin bar without issue. I can go to Devices in Windows and see the adapter. I can test the Wiimote's there and they work. I load the Dolphin app and go to config controllers. First I selected Real Wiimote because I have the official Wiimote (not the one with Motion Plus) with Nunchuk. When I load the games (doesn't matter which game I choose) the Wiimotes do not work. The screen shows "Connected" but then immediately shows "Disconnected" in the upperleft corner as the game loads, but when I press buttons nothing happens. The remotes appear to not work when I use the controller configuration of "Real Wiimote".

I have gone back into Controllers and select Hybrid Wiimote. I am able to configure the Wiimote and I see that everything works in the Controller Configuration screen as I map the buttons. But when I start the game I have the same affect, nothing works. Same result with Emulated Wiimote.

I have disabled my regular Bluetooth adapter but that didn't help. Everything seems to work all the way up to the point that I start a game. When I start a game it doesn't work. I have 3 Wiimotes, I have tried setting up the system with one, two, or all three Wiimotes but I have the same results.

Please let me know if any of you have any suggestions.

Where is "there"? Can you show a screenshot of that screen?

Does your Wiimote rumble when you start Dolphin or when you connect the Wiimote?

The Wiimote's so not rumble or make any sounds. They do with the actual Nintendo Wii, but they do not with my computer.

Here are the screen shots of what I was referring to.
The Mayflash Dolphin Bar shows in the Devices section of Windows.
**********See Pic 1**********

If I select the Mayflash Device and I choose the “Game Controller Settings” section

Then I will see the WiiMote Controllers.
**********See Pic 2**********

And if I choose the properties menu then I can test the controller and see that all the buttons work and that the “Z-Axis” also works when I move the remote around.
**********See Pic 3**********

So I know the controllers are communicating with the Dolphin bar. Next I load the Dolphin Emulator Application and go to “Controller” Settings.

**********See Pic 4**********
When I choose “Real WiiMote” the “Configure” section grays out and I can not confirm that the remote is communicating when the app. When I load either of my games the video window will show “Controller 1 Disconnected”. It will show the same message for the remaining 3 controllers.

**********See Pic 5**********
If I choose Hybrid or Emulate WiiMote then I can load the Configure Screen.

From here I can test the controller as well as map the controller buttons. The controllers all work on this screen and I am able to map the buttons. I am also able to map the NunChuk buttons.
**********See Pic 6**********

When I load the game this time I do not get a message that the controllers are disconnected, but they simply don’t work. The first when the game loads shows to “Press A+B” but when I do this on all 4 controllers nothing happens. I also do not see the finger with the P# moving around the screen.

Could I be missing a setting somewhere?

Make sure you are in mode 4.

That was it. Based on the instructions with the bar I thought it had to be on Mode 3. But once it synced on Mode 4 everything worked.

Thank you so much for your help.
