Changes to configuration won't stick - Hollandan - 09-16-2016
Every time I restart the Dolphin program, the settings will not stay. I have to re program the controllers, I have to choose the folder where my games are, the whole shebang. Can't get it to work and it makes playing impossible. Also I have to constantly format my memory card. Please help

Where did you install dolphin? Do you have a portable.txt file?

make sure you have proper write permissions for My Documents. You can verify this if you run Dolphin in Admin mode and have no issues.

Running as an admin has no change on the problem

as extremedude mentioned about the portable txt file, start again but this time where you have you dolphin emulator folder on your hard-drive create a text doc and name it portable before you open dolphin for first time again , forget the folder in documents you had, all saves etc now will be saved within the dolphin folder.
