Can my computer run Dolphin? - LordBane89 - 09-13-2016

Hi everyone, i´m new and would like to know if my computer can run Dolphin 5.0. My specs are:

AMD10-5745M APU with Radeon Graphics HD 2.10 GHz

12 GB RAM,Quad-core.

I thinks that´s what needed to know if i can run Dolphin, if you need anything else to tell, just say so.

Your laptop may run light-weight games like Mario Kart DD , NSMB at reasonable speed
Most games won't be playable on yours though
Requirement for most games would be sth like this :
Mobile : Core i5 6300HQ @ 3.0GHz + a dedicated GPU (GT 940MX , GTX 960M for example)
Desktop : Core i3 6100 @ 3.7GHz + GTX 750ti / AMD R7 250
AMD CPUs are weak for emulator due to bad single thread performance , almost 2x slower than current Intel CPU

That´s too bad, i wanted to play some games that i can´t anymore on my gamecube. I got my hopes up when i could run Skyrim at very high settings but i don´t really know a lot about computer specs yet. At least now i know for the next time i buy a computer.

Skyrim isn't a good benchmark.

Skyrim is also old.

It's likely fine for most games, but please don't hijack someone else's thread.
