Lag and freeze after upgrading - gnou - 09-13-2016
Hi,
Dolphin was running fine on Xubuntu 15.10 64-bit, but after upgrading to Xubuntu 16.04 64-bit, with exact same settings, it started to have bugs. FPS is often at 20-30 FPS instead of 60, and video freezes often a few seconds (but the game keeps running).
Resetting preferences didn't change anything. The bug occurs with Dolphin 4.0-9327 and 5.0-174. Hardware information appears on my profile.
I don't know how to debug that. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the same GPU driver you were using in 15?

Are you sure 3D acceleration is working? It's unlikely, but maybe something went wrong with upgrading Mesa. Could you post the output of glxinfo?

No, 15.10 and 16.04 don't ship the same version of Mesa (11.0 vs 11.2 IIRC)
