Required video card for gamecube - Guigui4731 - 09-07-2016 Hello all, I have Dolphin 5.0 on my computer, I mainly play to GC games like Mario Kart. With my actual config, I can play single player without Any issue. But when playing 2 players, The game slows and it is very uncomfortable. My config is the following one: Win7 home premium 64bits Intel i5 4570 3,2GHz 6Mo cache Intel hd graphic 4600 8Go RAM DDR3 1600 MHz I think I need a video card but I don't know which one I have to choose. Is a card like ASUS GeForce GT710 1Go is enough to run most of GC games? Else, what should I choose? Many thanks Guigui4731 RE: Required video card for gamecube - KHg8m3r - 09-08-2016 The GT 710 is worse than your Hd4600 RE: Required video card for gamecube - ExtremeDude2 - 09-08-2016 (09-08-2016, 12:51 AM)KHg8m3r Wrote: The GT 710 is worse than your Hd4600 Debatably, but even so definitely not worth it. RE: Required video card for gamecube - admin89 - 09-08-2016 You can get a used HD 7750 for 15->$30 on ebay and it will be like 10 times faster than that GT 710 . If you don't like used stuff then the GTX 750ti ($100) should be fine for 1080p RE: Required video card for gamecube - mstreurman - 09-08-2016 (09-07-2016, 10:18 PM)Guigui4731 Wrote: Hello all, That videocard is rubbish... even your Intel HD Graphic 4600 is faster: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=2910&cmp[]=2451 RE: Required video card for gamecube - Guigui4731 - 09-08-2016 Thanks for your answers, By the way, I probably only play to Mario Kart DD. Is the HD 4600 enough to play at 720p ? I expected to spend not much money in a video card just for one game. If you think it is only settings issue, I'll try to make it run better, if not I'll look for a used card. Do you have some review on the skylabe intel hd 530 ? For the same objective but on a new config. Thanks RE: Required video card for gamecube - admin89 - 09-08-2016 You can use Intel XTU - > Advanced Tuning -> Set both Multiplier of all cores and Processor Cache Ratio = max value (should be 38 or sth) . By doing this , you can unlock 2 pins and make your CPU run at 3.8GHz |
