WiiMote autodiscovery in Win10 - Izus - 09-06-2016

Hi,
Just switched from Ubuntu to Windows 10. Now I have a problem...

In Linux it was enoght to press 1+2 simultaniously to connect WiiMote, but in Windows I need to open Toshiba BT (I've installed it, but don't know was it neccessary), then choose wiimote, double click it, press OK and then press 1+2 on Wiimote...

So, is there any way to make everything simple just like in linux?

(Sorry for bad English = )

If your controller does not have "-TR" at the end of it's name, you don't need the Toshiba BT software.
You can pair it with your BT adapter - and it will re-connect automatically every time.

In BT Manager controller has a "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01" name. So, what should I do to enable auto reconnect? Uninstall Toshiba BT Stack?

I think so, mate.

I just set up mine yesterday... just paired it with my PC. I can confirm it connects automatically to Bluetooth.
However, you do need to go into the controller configuration every time and refresh it (every time it disconnects from Bluetooth).

It auto-disconnects if left for 10 minutes, I think. I didn't measure it, but left Zelda running while I fed the cat, and the controller was off when I came back.

You don't need to refresh manually if you have Continuous Scanning enabled (which makes using Wiimotes more convenient and the experience more similar to the Wii).

You are right. I've deleted Toshiba BT Stack and everything is fine now... Except one thing - controller didn't turn off after shutting down emulator, but it's not a big problem.

Thanks.

I game on a desktop PC, so I remove the BT dongle when I'm done. This turns off the controller (blue lights go off).
It will actually turn on if you press any button.

I guess if your BT is non-removable \ you don't wanna remove it, you can turn it off (using windows' 10 control panel on the right hand side) to make the controller turn off.

Just to make clear, you only need Toshiba BT Stack if you're on Windows 7. On Windows 8 and newer the default MS BT Stack handles both -TR and non-TR Wiimotes just fine, and also works with Continuous Scanning.
