Core i5 4460@3.2GHz - Izus - 03-10-2016

I've tried to run Dolphin on a Windows 10 Machine with Core i5 4460 and integrated Intel GPU and noticed, that this config is quite good. It runs New Super Mario Bros at 1080p@60fps even in OpenGL mode. Can anyone tell me: if I install Linux on this machine, will a framerate be the same?
P.S. And one more question. Will the nVidia GT520 speed up this config or slow it down?

With OpenGL, yes, it should be the same. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is not a very intensive game; with more intensive games, the integrated GPU will not be handle to handle anything near 3xIR… I don't know if your iGPU has DX12-enabled drivers. If you can use DX12, that should be faster than any other backend.

The GT520 is a very old and weak card. It will be much better if you upgrade to something modern like the 750 Ti (or better).

Thank you very much. One question: What is '3xIR'?

3xIR means a resolution that is three times higher than the native resolution. The native resolution is roughly 480p, so 3xIR is a bit higher than 1080p.

Oh! It's not even matter =) I have a cheap Acer X112 Projector with 800x600 and a very poor eyesight =) So, native resolution is OK.
