Performance Questions - kaidenjames - 03-08-2016
Hey everyone. I am trying to run Twilight Princess and Wind Waker on the Ishiiruka build of Dolphin.
These are my PC specs: Intel i5 4670k @ 4.2, Corsair 8gb Vengance, XFX R9 290x
My current settings are as follows:
Resolution: 2560 x 1440, 3x Native, DX11, VSYNC, 4xSSAA, 2xAF, DolphinFX.
The issue i'm having is slowdowns using Hi Res texture packs. With the packs disabled I can run full speed no problem. With them on, I get some slowdowns quite often. My question is are there any magical settings I can turn on (or off) to make it run smoother with the texture packs? Should I just play in 1080? Bestow your knowledge unto me! Please and thank you!

Use the latest Dolphin and DX12 which is much faster than DX11

We don't support Ishiiruka. Either use the latest development build or go post for help in the Ishiiruka thread where you'll probably get help there.
