Hello, i just wanted to ask "How do you patch a Wii virtual console game for example, Super Mario 64, with something like Luigi's mansion 64?" Can you actually do that? Thanks in advance.

You can try using this https://sites.google.com/site/gamemockersbeta/game-hacking/wii-hacking/vc-injector.
Official Nintendo vc 64 emulators are hardcoded for their specific games. Try wii64 if you must use dolphin. I would use a standalone emulator.
Also use https://dolphin-emu.org/ for the latest version.
