How can I configure the graphic options for Wii and GameCube separately? - Super-M - 03-02-2016 I can play Wii Games only with 1x interal resolution and without any fancy added stuff, but I'm able to activate much more enhancements for GameCube games. Is there any way I can separate the configs without too much work? I was think about two config files that are valid per system and not per game or something like that. Thanks for any help. RE: How can I configure the graphic options for Wii and GameCube separately? - JosJuice - 03-02-2016 It's only possible to do this per game, not per system. In general, there isn't actually a trend of Wii games being significantly more intensive than GameCube games. It depends a lot on the specific game. RE: How can I configure the graphic options for Wii and GameCube separately? - Super-M - 03-04-2016 Okay, too bad. I had hoped for an easy solution, but I guess writing the internal resolution factor and MSAA in the specific game config files works well enough. Yes, if you're fine with having two completely separate Dolphin installs that each use different game directories. Also, the method of creating a file named portable.txt in the same folder as Dolphin.exe is usually simpler than editing the registry. |
