Gamecube adapter going from working to not detected - ken_cinder - 02-19-2016 Having problems with my Gamecube adapter going from working just fine, to not detected. It seems to happen when a game is paused/left idle with no input for even a short period of time. I have not had it stop working on me while playing, but have had it stop right as I pick the controller back up and have an input stuck as soon as I touch a button/stick. The adapter is still present in Windows after it's no longer detected by Dolphin, with the latest Zadig drivers installed. I even completely removed the device and driver, reinstalled with no different results. Restarting dolphin has no effect, I have to unplug the adapter and plug it back in to get Dolphin to detect it again. Because of this and the fact it doesn't disappear from Windows(Nor is there any USB disconnect/reconnect sound unless I unplug it myself) I'm not sure what the culprit is. Adapter is a BX-W201 as seen here RE: Gamecube adapter going from working to not detected - skid - 02-19-2016 Just a wild guess, but could it be caused by some sort of USB power saving mode? In Windows Control Panel, go to Power Options, plan settings, advanced power settings, USB, and change it to Disabled. RE: Gamecube adapter going from working to not detected - ken_cinder - 02-19-2016 I already have Selective Suspend disabled, so unfortunately that isn't the issue. I've even tried all of the USB ports, and making sure I put it on a Root Hub with no other devices and that doesn't matter. |
