Getting the Wii U Gamecube adapter working on Dolphin for Wii titles - kuhchuk - 02-04-2016
Ok, so here's my issue. I have no problem using my gamecube controller adapter working for gamecube titles using direct connect. However, I seem to be unable to use the adapter for Wii titles. I launch the game, and then I'm just stuck on the splash screen explaining that you need to cinch down the wrist strap for the Wiimote. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong or how to fix it?

The GameCube controller adapter only works with games that support GameCube controllers. Some Wii games do, but not all.

Ah, I guess that does it. Thanks for the help.
EDIT: Just confirmed this theory using a copy of Brawl. Thanks again for the help. Looks like I'm gonna have to invest in a Wiimote/Nunchuk.
