Best configuration to get most fps out of my games? - Waz - 01-24-2016
Hello, I have recently started trying to use Dolphin again as my new pc can handle games better, however I believe I can still get more performance
In some games my fps might dip from 60 to around 30/40. Games also start very slowly, and the audio is also very slow with startup of games
Specs:
AMD 8320e 8 core (cpu)
PowerColor Turbo Duo AMD Radeon R9 285 (gpu)
8 gbs ram
my current configuration of the emulator
Full res: 1920x1080
aspect ratio: force 16:9
backend: Direct3D9 (deprecated)
1x Native (640x528)
4x SSAA Anti aliasing
If any more details are needed please let me know as I a bit new to Dolphin still.

Update to the latest development version.

leave aspect ratio and full screen res at auto. The latest dev release is smarter about it.
I would personally set internal res to 3x and dial down the SSAA, but your way actually might be a little better because some games don't like having their IRs increased.
